Welcome to Hilton Spencer Academy
Hilton Spencer Academy has many qualities where high expectations, standards and values are fostered and progress and achievement are positively monitored and celebrated. Every child at our school is equally important to us and they are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure they are cared for, nurtured and developing in a happy, safe and purposeful environment where they can grow and flourish.
Both as a large school and as part of the Spencer Academies Trust, we are able to draw upon an impressive range of talent, expertise and resources to support and enhance learning and the all-round development of our children.

Flashback: A few weeks ago, the year 4 and 5 children participated in an exciting Drumba experience. This was paid for using our School Sports Premium funding. The children enjoyed working up a sweat in this mixture of dance, aerobics and drumming session. 😅🥁 pic.twitter.com/DFWVmzQ70y
Our Y5/Y6s represented the school amazingly yesterday. An all Hilton semi final was decided on penalties with Y6 going through. In the final, a single goal was enough to secure the win for Hilton! Well done to both teams achieving 1st and 3rd! Thanks to @EdgeHillAPE for hosting. pic.twitter.com/oloJF1SNEs
Garden Gang recently raised £140 selling sunflower seeds kindly donated by Blooming Hilton. With sunflowers being the national flower of Ukraine, £70 was donated to the Ukraine Centre in Derby who will provide more translated school books for children housed locally. Well done! pic.twitter.com/H8xipZDfmg
A huge well done to the Year 6 Athletics team who competed in the county finals this week against schools from across Derbyshire. They were a credit to the school, demonstrating superb enthusiasm, resilience and perseverance. We are very proud of them. 🏆😀 pic.twitter.com/wJd2bRtZmy
Reception had an amazing time pond dipping in the Sensory Garden. They were all very sensible and followed their instructions brilliantly. Well done children and thank you Mrs Edmond! pic.twitter.com/UDnDjCxvxR
